"Price predictions can be a bit hit or miss"
I’ve used Hopper a few times and it’s been okay overall. I was feeling hopeful the first time it told me to wait on booking, but then the price went up, which was frustrating. That happened a couple of times, so now I take the predictions with a grain of salt. It can still be useful for tracking fares, but I wouldn’t fully rely on it.

"Support Really Let Me Down"
I reached out to support expecting at least some kind of useful help, but they did nothing that actually solved the problem. It felt like I was just getting passed around or given generic responses. After that experience, I really don’t trust them to handle issues properly anymore

"Room was pretty much as expected"
The room matched the photos well overall, which I appreciated. The bed was clean and comfortable, though the bathroom did feel a little older compared to the rest of the space. Booking through hopper was a smooth experience and everything went fine.

"Still can’t get into my account"
I’ve been trying to get into my Hopper account and it keeps asking me to verify my identity over and over again. I do what it asks, and then it still doesn’t work. Same thing every time. I still can’t access my account, and support hasn’t really helped at all. It’s just frustrating having to repeat the same steps and get nowhere.
"Price drop guarantee didn’t really help"
I booked through Hopper mainly because the price drop guarantee sounded like a nice safety net. the app itself was easy to use and I didn’t have any issues booking, so I wanted to like it. But then the price actually dropped, I sent in the proof, and I never got the payout. Support kept replying with what felt like the same copy-paste message over and over. Maybe it works for some people, but in my case it was basically useless...

"Total runaround between the airline and hotel"
I booked expecting things to be handled like they promised, but it turned into a mess. The hotel flat-out said no, and the airline just told me to call Hopper instead of actually helping. Everyone kept passing me off to someone else, and none of the promises meant anything in the end

"I booked a hotel through Hopper and…"
I booked a hotel through Hopper and the price was decent, so that part was totally fine. The booking did go through, but I noticed the confirmation email took longer than I expected, which made me start checking for signs that something might be off. I kept going back into the app a few times to see if the reservation had updated properly. In the end, nothing was wrong and everything showed up, but the delay definitely made me uneasy. I just wish the confirmation process felt a little more instant and consistent.

"Not What I Expected With the Fee Dispute"
I went into this thinking the fee dispute process would be straightforward, but it ended up being more frustrating than I expected. If unexpected charges show up, I’d definitely recommend writing down the exact fees, dates, and amounts right away so you have everything clear.
What really matters is explaining what you tried to dispute and how support responded, because that’s what makes the experience useful for other people to understand. I expected clearer communication and a faster explanation, so the gap between what I thought would happen and what actually happened was disappointing.
Overall, I’d say keep your receipts, screenshots, and any messages with support. That way, if you leave a review or push back on a charge, it’s based on real details and not just frustration.

"Decent support, but a bit slow"
I did end up getting the help I needed, which I appreciated. The only frustrating part was that the replies were slow, and I had to follow up twice before things moved along. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, just kind of okay, and at least it got resolved in the end.
"Helpful if your dates are flexible"
I like using the deal alerts, and the flexible dates feature made it easier to compare a few trip options. Since I could see different dates side by side, I had a better idea of when to go. The only annoying part was that some prices changed after I clicked, so I had to keep checking again. Overall, it’s useful, just not perfect.

"Decent price, but way too many add-ons"
Booking itself was smooth and the app worked fine, but Hopper kept trying to sell me something at almost every step. Trip protection, price freeze, cancellation add-ons, extra coverage, random little upgrades, you name it. It felt like I was constantly tapping “no thanks” just to get to the actual checkout. The price was good, and I did end up booking, but the whole process was more annoying than it needed to be.

"The reminders didn’t really help"
I don’t know... the reminders from Hopper were kind of useless for me. Some itinerary updates came late, and a few didn’t seem to show up when I actually needed them. I ended up missing an update and had to go check directly with the airline myself. At that point, what’s the point of using the app if I still have to keep watching everything on my own?
"Messy cancellation experience"
So I booked through Hopper and ended up needing to cancel when my plans changed. The app made it seem like it would be straightforward, but after that I was basically just stuck waiting and checking the same screen over and over. Customer support felt really generic, like they were sending copy-paste replies. First they said the refund was processing, then they blamed the airline, then they told me to wait more days. I still don’t have a clear answer or my money back. I’ve never had a cancellation feel this messy, and I don’t think I’ll be using Hopper again.

"Decent prices, but the app was a pain to use"
I’ll give it credit for having prices that seemed reasonable, at least from what I could see while I was searching around, but actually using the app was kind of frustrating. A lot of the stuff I was looking for felt harder to find than it needed to be, and I kept having to tap around more than I expected just to get to the right place. The biggest issue was that it froze on me twice while I was in the middle of booking, which was annoying because I had to stop, wait, and basically hope it didn’t mess anything up. Overall, it wasn’t the worst experience ever, and the prices looked okay, but the app itself could definitely be smoother and easier to navigate.

"The filters are a little hit or miss"
I like using the search, but the filters don’t always feel super accurate, if that makes sense. Sometimes I’ll set exactly what I’m looking for and still get results that feel kind of random, so I end up scrolling more than I expected. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if they were a bit more precise

"I used Hopper a few times because the..."
I used Hopper a few times because the rewards made it seem like I’d actually save a bit on future bookings. But when I finally tried to use them, it was just frustrating. The app would show I had credits, then once I got to checkout they either wouldn’t apply or only worked on options that were more expensive anyway.
Support wasn’t much help either, mostly just repeating the same canned responses without fixing anything. From my experience, the rewards feel more like a way to keep you booking than a real benefit. I don’t see myself using hopper.com again...

"Price freeze felt pointless"
I didn’t get much out of the price freeze. The app was confusing to use, and it didn’t really save me any money in the end. What made it more annoying was having to keep verifying things over and over, which felt unnecessary. Overall, it just felt like a waste of time.

"Not many options, which made me nervous"
I tried using hopper to book a hotel and flights, but there just wasn’t much to choose from. I kept seeing way more options on other sites, so it made me wonder if I was missing something or being pushed toward only a few picks.
The prices looked decent at first, but with such limited choices, I didn’t really trust that I was seeing the full picture. Some dates had barely anything available, and I hate that feeling like I might be getting fooled into thinking something is a good deal when I can’t compare much.
I ended up booking somewhere else because hopper just didn’t have enough inventory for me. It was disappointing and felt like a waste of time, especially when I was trying to make sure I wasn’t getting tricked into a bad booking.

"Payment was okay, but kinda frustrating"
Booking through Hopper was smooth overall, but the payment part was a little annoying. My card got declined at first, even though I use it on other sites with no issue, so I was like, REALLY? I tried a different card after that and it finally went through. I just wish they had more payment options or made it clearer what would work before checkout. Not a huge deal, but definitely frustrating in the moment...

"Well... I had a frustrating..."
Well... I had a frustrating experience. My reservation got changed without much explanation, and when I reached out to support, they really didn’t help at all. It just made the whole rental process way more stressful than it needed to be.
